Soros, good post.
I, for one, have been long on a company called CGI for many, many years (nope not promoting this one as the run has already happened).
This company, CGI, was against ALL odds. An IT consulting company making 1% gross margin. Good management though. Smart. They made all the right connections. Kept on their business plan. Sold part of their company to BCE (Bell Canada and others). Made their play at the right time in the market.
Funny thing is....now they are the largest in Canada, 6th largest in North America, international offices, etc. etc. etc.
Skip to present....small cap when big time. Stock was under $1 in 1994, now worth over $200 (pre-splits).
Moral of the story - The miracle story does happen. When you invest in risky stocks like this, even with the best management and a good business plan, 9 times out of 10 it probably won't payoff. But, if you pick the right one, BOOOOM!!!!
I AGREE WITH YOU SOROS, THIS ONE IS WORTH THE RISK.
AND FOR EVERYONE ELSE OUT THERE, AS MR. FORTHRIGHT HAS TRIED TO STATE, IN SUCH A DICK-HEAD KIND OF WAY, THERE IS RISK IN INVESTING IN BII. MORE RISK THAN MOST.
YOU CHOOSE, DON'T LET A DICK-HEAD DO IT FOR YOU! |
