Yousef, another clip from your article: Improved availability is one attribute that is considered a must for Intel servers in 1999. Although still in the company of buzzwords such as "scalability," availability can nevertheless be viewed simply as something that IT managers want and deserve: equipment that does not break. Gee, wasn't there some guy around here (or was it on the Intel thread) who was propounding the importance of availability, along with reliability and serviceability (and scalability) in servers? Wasn't he told where to go with his stupid ideas, that only Megahertz and performance counted? Didn't one of the technical "gurus" of this thread say availability...AMD has that now, you can buy their microprocessors anywhere now. Duh. So, the K7 will march right and take share away from Intel in the server business, right? Gee. Tony
