Gee, wasn't there some guy around here (or was it on the Intel thread) who was propounding the importance of availability, along with reliability and serviceability (and scalability) in servers? Wasn't he told where to go with his stupid ideas, that only Megahertz and performance counted? Didn't one of the technical "gurus" of this thread say availability...AMD has that now, you can buy their microprocessors anywhere now. Duh. So, the K7 will march right and take share away from Intel in the server business, right? Gee.
