Yeah Jay, I've thought about computing many different indicators, and in the past have actually attempted it. Problem is I just ran out of steam. I'm sure you see how time consuming a task it would be to set something up like that and then have to redo it every day when you update the files. Way too much work. Also, lately I've taken a hard look at some of the models I have that use industry indices as relateds. Just eyeballing them it appears that they really don't lead my targets but trade in tandem. This makes sense since it's their activity that goes into the computation of the index in the first place. Since the best nets have the best "leading" indicators, I'm spending lots of time trying to find indicators that actually leas my targets. So far it seems like an impossible task.

Do you, or anyone else reading this post have a source that lists the "bellweather" stocks?
