orcl provides the back end for citi
that means that they supply the software
for their data management operation
and, logically, their ebill!
therefore, it comes as no surprise that
citi, in private, is as ready to go with ckfr/orcl
as they are with TP
it seems to me, as long as orcl and ckfr
continue to sign up billers
and take a neutral stance (kind of like intc has in the chip world)
they could supply most of the banks
my friend said that orcl's take on this thing is that
msft will eventually work with a lot of small banks
but the larger ones will eventually come over
after all, more of them use orcl dbase, then msft

i was very calmed by talking with them about this
now i see the citi relationship very differently
