X, Maybe the cats you have encountered were scratching and biting because you were trying to strangle them. Falcons kill other birds too. Do you hate them? That's what they have evolved to do. My cats are well fed and stay indoors most of the time, but I know they long for a taste of the birds that they watch from the window. I don't let my cats roam the neighborhood at will, and think that those who allow their cats to do so in the city are irresponsible. Anyway, if you stop crawling through the hedges you won't get any cat piss on yourself. Del
