Graham / Vermilion Resources & TOP 20 Values

Hugh potential - was referring to Vermilion Resources. Was in reference to plays resulting from recent acquisition of properties in Europe. It wouldn't take too much success to impact the shares of the company. Because of the this upside potential, it is difficult to establish when shares would be fully valued. Will have to wait and see what specific plans are for 1997. If you want a comparison, I see the company in the same light as Morrison Middlefield.

As far as my TOP 20 Listing and the seeking of value companies within the list, I would now have to say Jordan Petroleum ranks at the top of the list. Shares of the company have lagged far behind the performance of the TSE 300 and the Oil & Gas Producers Index. Until recently, Morrison Petroleums was my top value choice.

Other value situations include Barrington Petroleum, Canadian 88 Energy, Cimarron Petroleum, Crestar Energy, International Petroleum, Northstar Energy, Paramount Resources, Pinnacle Resources Stampeder Exploration and Tarragon Oil & Gas.

My momentum favorite continues to be Newport Petroleum. I also look for strong upside movement on Pan East Petroleum shares.
