Thanks for putting the patent in perspective.

As far as MSFT's lack of "any original technical idea", you are preaching to the choir here. My concern was solely for my AOL shares. I can't tell you how many small tech companies I have not invested in because of the possibility of the MSFT juggernaut crushing fledgling efforts to improve technology.
