Bruce... Not trying to be a nay-sayer, but I have been watching this thread for a while, and this news has me puzzled. What I see here is that IXC dumped a deadbeat customer, who will likely NEVER pay its debt in full, on DCI, for a bunch of maybes. The liability is real: $16 million bucks. If DCI gets 50&#162 on the dollar, I will be mildly surprised. So, please excuse me if I don't share in your enthusiasm and dash out to my broker today. This deal has be scratching my head. I can almost see the head shed folks at IXC popping a bottle of bubbly over this. "Man, we got rid of that writeoff...and we didn't even have to do much of anything! Fill your glass?"
