Shalom,
I have a wonderful congregation. Alan goes at times with us too. Chris jumped the gun on us as usual, I had shared that my father in the process of dying shared his past hurts as to why he did not attend regularly. There is no one that can tell him at this point that he was wrong in what he felt because he died last night. My frustration was that I shared my need for support and Chris just jumped me about sharing what my father said. I passed it on to encourage people to be more sensitive and less harsh with people like my father. We need to learn and to grow from the truth. It only takes one person to reach out with the love of God to make a major difference in the Church.
