Good morning Bachman,

From your quoted source ""Dell should increasingly be viewed as an Internet stock, albeit one with earnings."

One of the cornerstones of my thinking all along! I continue to repeat: the reason that Dell's model is unsurpassed is because it has eliminated all unnecessary levels of cost while adding value to its product offerings.

Like a retailer, it relies on the design and engineering efforts of others, like INTC.

Like an internet company it sells directly to the end user. But there is one other point to consider.

Like the great large cap consumer stocks it has established a franchise value through branding its product. In that sense it is like KO.

So, Dell has managed to amalgamate the best features of a variety of industrial and retail prototypes with the obvious advantages of electronic commerce.

TTFN,
CTC
