Everyone should read Delsecur's 10-K:

sec.yahoo.com

Clearly, this company was established by scam artists who only relinquished their positions in early 1998. The new team of directors is headed by an individual who has no engineering credentials, yet has been "developing" the technology since 1995. The technology appears to be photography, with the image subsequently manipulated.

I don't think this represents state of the art. There is clearly no way here to detect fake fingers. There is no data encryption. There is no discussion of how any matching algorithm could prevent the theft of transmitted data and replay, allowing imposter access. How many bytes of storage will a manipulated photographic image take in a database? The best competitive template footprint is around 100 bytes. This one could be 2000 bytes, for all we know.

None of the directors has a background in the biometric industry. One of the five directors of this company is a legal secretary.

I have read all the press releases, and virtually all of the eye catching references are name drops or invitations to misleading inferences. For example, the reference to the US Department of Defense in one release has NO connection to any Delsecur product or project. The 82 European patents are not issued. References to biometric professionals like Dr. Wayman are only in reference to their clearing a test protocol for a biometric device -- they have given no apparent approval to the Delsecur device.

All that Delsecur has created so far, according to the press release, is one mock-up version of a device. Its big "project" is nothing more than a promise by a consortium to look at its technology.

To the extent I could research this issue, the company has no revenues and basically no equity beyond its market cap. You got nothing here, guys.

There are a lot of biometric promoters out there only too willing to take your money. Look into EOSC (another reverse takeover/shell corporation launch) or IDID. Both became notorious biometric scams based on big promises made by stock manipulators.
