"Joe,

Projected earnings? I cannot locate any analyst showing any projected earnings for any
point in time. All projections through 2001 are for losses. Fulfillment costs exceeds
gross margins so without automating fulfillment, how can this company every be
profitable? Please show me someone with projected profits. Thank you.

Glenn"

Glenn:
<<Fulfillment costs exceed gross margins>> An internet myth.

MARKETING COSTS exceed gross margins. But not forever, at least if they intend to stay in business.

The analysts are by and large lying with statistics, not just with Amazon, but with all of the stocks they review. The projections are my own. Feel free to disagree. I have positive earnings in 2002 and positive cash flow in 2000. I haven't updated the analysis since July, though, as the stock price has grossly exceeded my valuation. Obviously I could be wrong.
