I agree that no one should have a free ride, and that there must first be definitive proof before there can be compensation.

As far as recovery before assay, I am not as sure that I agree. but I think it is more of a technicality.

One thing that an assay will do is it will give you a map of the property as to where and how the "hot spots" and the "not so hot" spots lie. It makes things much more efficiently if you know how and why you are getting the recovery numbers you do. You will end up being much more cost efficient.

However, that may be the classic case of putting the cart before the horse. We first need to find out definitively if can assay or recover anything other than sand. I think eventually we will, I just have no idea if it will be sooner or later.
