TRIQUANTA - UPDATE - January 16 - 1997

UK INVESTMENT BANKER TO PROVIDE FUNDING
OF US $2 MILLION VIA 'BEST EFFORTS PRIVATE
PLACEMENT OFFERING'

Mr. Keith Beasley, head of Captital Markets for VenGua
Capital Markets Ltd of the United Kingdom said in a
recent letter to Triquanta:
"This is to confirm that within 30 days of signing the
Investment Relations contract (with International Investor
Relations Group Inc) we will commence the funding
process of US $2 million on a best efforts basis via a
private placement offering."

This money will be used for further corporate expansion.
Triquanta management is also in the early stages of
acquisition talks with a US based teleco.

VenGua Capital Markets Ltd is a member of the
Venture Guarantee Group of Companies of the UK and
has worked on a number of projects in conjunction
with International Investor Relations Group Inc. One
of their recent projects was the raising of US $150
million for Arakis Energy of Calgary, Alberta which
trades on NASDAQ.

Triquanta Investments Limited main business is selling
refurbished telecom switching equipment to emerging
economies.
