Perhaps Smaltz should have made that case, Les?

Ted Wells, one of Espy's lawyers, sought to demolish Smaltz's case during closing argument to the jury that the prosecution presented no witnesses who testified his client ever made a decision based on anything he ever received.

Were the jurors and Wells asleep turning that part of the trial, Les? Could be, I certainly didn't follow the case. The prosecutor's got to present the evidence and prove guilt, is my understanding.
