I think Wizzer may be refering to the alarms on the JAVA live ticker. I have used the sound alarm on it a couple of times but have not found it that useful. If I have the symbols on the JAVA ticker it means I am watching them close. I usually react before my alarm ever sounds. I guess if you bring up 50+ stocks up on your ticker alarms may benifit you but I normally find 10-20 stocks to watch for the day and then trade stocks in and out of my ticker all day as the market changes.
