I think the BTIM thread here use to be good when Mark Voelker and Jim Roof and even Stephen How were posting I thought I felt a slight burning sensation in my ears! I still post here from time to time but frankly, I really think there is very little to say on BTIM's fundamentals. It sort of became like arguing over the morality of slavery. I will try to post here some more but my comments will probably be more along the lines of technical analysis of BTIM's chart. Hey, now that the subject has been brought up.... I think the longs will see 20 in not too many more days. If you look at the big volatile day when the range hit a low of 11 and a high near 16 (and a close at 14 3/8) you will see that 11 was almost exactly on the rising support trendline that the previous two sell-offs were also on. Since the volume on the sell-off that day was about the same as the volume that brought it back to over 14 (or maybe even a little less) then what effectively happened was sort of a trading 'time-warp' in which the trading that would have probably happened over a week or so instead took place in just a few hours. It looks pretty rough on the chart but the fact that the line at 11 held and the ensuing rally has consolidated in the 14-15 range (on volume that is drying up - less and less shares available at this price) tells me that we stand a very good chance of breaking out of this range of the last week for another 4-5 point move. When that happens I think there will be some fireworks. And Asensio will probably be sending PRN Newswire another check for 200 bucks to get his slam job on the scamnet. Jim
