*AV*--a very nice young lady I worked with prior to the closing of the plant was dating Terrel Davis. I used to meet him at one or 2 parties 2 and 3 seasons ago and we met him a few times at Rockies games when the company had those "special event days". There we would all be in the upper nose bleed seats at Coors Field with him trying to look like every other joe schmoe.
Now that the company has disbanded, I have lost daily touch with her. She occasionally calls me. Gee, what I wouldn't give to be that man's financial advisor these days. Actually, I would love to know what he would give me to be his financial advisor.<GGG> Just a set of tickets to the Super Bowl would suffice, in Pat Bowlen's Skybox<GGG>. Hell, I can't even get her to get an autographed jersey or football for my son let alone game tickets. Funny thing is, she does these things for him. She sets up the appearances and helps with the fan mail and such.
Denver-KC was a real gut wrencher. My son and I were watching the sloppy game and I conceded the defeat to him, having gotten disgusted with some of the 2nd half faux pas. They pulled it out in style though.
Anyone in Miami know of a bank or two to rob and a scalper in the vicinity of the Miami Dolphins stadium. I would love to fly down there for the game but I fear that Bill Gates might be the only one who could afford tickets.<GGG> I think Miami may just blemish the Broncos' record and I would like to be there to watch. Too much at stake to let Denver go undefeated. Plus, we now have home field advantage throughout the playoffs which means a Denver letdown of sorts. Can History repeat itself?? Yeah, but which history? Go to the Super Bowl or get too conservative in these last few games, losing in the playoffs to an "also ran".
