David,

Thanks for the reply. TA is on my list of things to learn more about this year, perhaps I can start with the book you mentioned. That's interesting about the volumn... with IPM, for example, if it got to 3 on average volumn, I would expect it to keep falling, but if I saw a lot of buyers for the scared sellers, then I would expect a rebound... to me, that would indicate a "floor". Course, it could be that the smart money is selling, and the dummies are buying<g>. Without going and looking at the graphs, though, I can almost swear that 2 stocks I traded last year, SM and HDL, did just what I described. I don't have a chart for ipmcf, because the only program I have that will keep that is StreetSmart, and it doesn't provide quotes for IPM. I've looked at charts of it before, but I don't remember what the volumn was when it was around 3 the last time... I do know I was buying then, though!<g> I hope you can elaborate a bit more for me... I find TA fascinating, even though I don't understand it very well. Thanks for your thoughts.

Kim
