"Oz ski fields" ah, so you are a wombat dodging, eucalyptus thrashing southern hemispheric skier ? On our one visit to Thredbow, certainly a pleasant if remote ski resort, people were running around all a ga ga saying things like "the best powder skiing in 10 or 20 years...". I admit it was nice, except for the wind, but not exactly over the knees sort of skiing. By the way, did I mention we had 12 - 15 inches of fresh powder yesterday ?
