Hi John (and others), the following article is a forward look at what is happening in the "on line brokerage business" and what we might expect in the future. Although the article describes US brokers, the same will be true in Canada. The part I like is the suggestion that current brokerages are an endangered species. cbs.marketwatch.com The very thought that The Yorkton's and Cannacord's etc might well cease to exist as we know them today, is heartwarming to say the least (it is a nice Christmas gift, doesn't matter which Christmas it happens) regards, Terence Mitchell
