[AWARE]

IMO, it is just because Aware stands to make some profit sooner because they are only "intelectual capital" company. ORCTF and WSTL sell equipment as well. I agree. Aware will probably make profit but, IMO , the likes of ORCTF stand to make more profit dollars in the long run. Maybe not as good of margin, but greater dollars. I am not so sure on WSTL, but have been long hoping for Lucent buyout or massive 5ESS switch deployment of WSTL ADSL. I am highly overweighted in ORCTF because I thing they will have many profit sources in '99. 1) HDSL2, ADSL, and VDSL silicon, 2) HDSL, ADSL, VDSL equipment, 3) RADSL and DMT line code (RADSL puzzling but on web site. Maybe someone can explain. I have usually only seen ORCTF involved in DMT, QAM, and whatever HDSL standard is. I assume RADSL = CAP, not correct??), 4) contracts in hand and partnerships as well...Lucent, Fujitsu, Siemens, Deutche Telekom, Telecom Italia, GTE, etc. , 5) even tester equipment agreements. I know DR. TECH has low opinion of ORCTF, but I have not seen evidence of his assertions.
IMO, more winners will be flushed out as deployment tidal wave crests. GOOD LUCK TO ALL.
