On the advice of my dad, a longtime AOL subscriber, my sister got a trial subscription; she couldn't get on *once* in the first month; they gave her a second free month, ditto. She gave up. I'm not there to troubleshoot, so don't know what's going on, but the AOL rep told her they're expanding in her area but still having trouble meeting demand. As a sister I told her to try some other ISP; as a stockholder I can only hope people will think, as many seem to think about Microsoft, that there's no alternative :-}
