When a structured CC is held a teleco employee greats each person as they dial in and gets a name and affiliation. The teleco employee monitors that line, and all lines during the call.

The teleco employee mutes all lines and gives the floor to the speaker, who might be on a speaker phone in a room with several Company representatives.

When the speaker is ready to accept calls he signals the teleco employee to allow ONE at a time to come on. Then by pressing a button a listener requests to be brought on line. If the listener then become abusive he can be muted out. I have never seen a need to have this done, as when you idenitify yourself why would you then want to make a fool of yourself? Most listeners who speak are familiar to Management anyway, they are known by their voices etc.

If someone was there to disrupt, the teleco employee would be signalled to disconnect them.
