Here is What We Know

As you have heard me say by now, 8% of revenue comes from Softbank. This is fact. Lets not argue. BTW, that is up from 1% in the second quarter when it was 1% and therefore accounted for one-third of revenue growth.

We also know that some % of revenue comes from barter transactions. Similar to the Softbank revenue, I view this as suspect revenue upon which a long-term business cannot be based. Documents state that this does not exceed 10% (eventhough is has in the past). Lets assume that if it was below 5%, management would take the opportunity to tell us that it was not more than 5%. Therefore, a safe assumption is that it is 7.5% (I would personally guess 9.99%). Subtotal so far is 15.5%

Now lets turn to the sex ads. Who knows what that is. I would guess alot. A friendly long poster (who now ignores me because I am short) stated that this percentage has in the past been well into the double digits (probably the mid teens is my guess). Same guy says it is now single digit. Lets assume 7.5% again. Seems fair. Will Yahoo turn this revenue down in the future like Disney/Infoseek/Go announced today to preserve their image? Big question.

Grand Total = 23% of Revenue is Questionable and IMO not sustainable.
