I have the upgrade bug...My question is should I bother?

I have a Pentium 200MMX with 32 MB RAM and a second backup Pentium 90 with 80 MB RAM. The 200MMX is significantly faster than the P90 in my subjective opinion. I feel like I am surfing in molasses with the P90. (there may be other issues involved, I don't think the P90 has any cache)

If you have a use for a second computer you may be better off leaving the system as it is and springing for a 450 machine. The Celeron 300A overclocked to 450 will blow the socks off your P90 and at a very reasonable cost. Get the ABIT BH6 for overclocking the Celeron. Several thread residents have the ABIT BH6 which helps with answering questions. Many conservative minded individuals consider overclocking the Celeron 300A an option. You will get a lot of "bang for the buck".

Forget SCSI for performance increase. It is a good option if you want to add harddware not supported in a standard configuration.

Get an AGP video card because you will waste a PCI slot if you don't. I think 66 and 100 bus are supported on the ABIT BH6 (someone correct me if I am wrong)
