According to an semiconductor industry analyst who issued a report today after returning from Korea and Tiawan, many fabs switching to .21µ are currently yielding only about 40%, which is why they aren't completely converted yet. He believes that it may take two quarters to get yields at .21µ up to the 60% range. If MU is in fact yielding at 60% already they are way ahead in the game.

He also indicated that most DRAM players expect pricing for Q199 to remain the the $9.00 range unless Korean makers are able to raise yields faster than expected.
