Interesting debate about Class Actions - which, I admit are totally new to me. As such I seek the legal grounds for a case against MIFGY - one that is more criminal that simple management ineptitude.

Take the loss of the Y2K salesforce - which I too was upset to learn about. Surley MIFGY management can downplay the significance of this loss suggesting that the products were strong to the point that they could sell themselves.

How on earth could a court weight the resultant impact of such a loss? What is the crime and what are the legal grounds for an action?

Anyone point me at some straightforward references?
