Ed, your point is well taken, and my analogy is not perfect, but you are missing the point I was making.

In my opinion (yours may well differ, but I've been in the oilpatch quite a while) what we are flaring is miniscule compared to what is still downhole.

Apparently a lot of expert analysts agree with me, because they are buying huge chunks of this play with FULL KNOWLEDGE of what is happening.

For the record, I'm going long....very long.
