Kerm... The relief well is being undertaken because there is no POSITIVE news from the Boots people. They may still succeed but they aren't saying. The reality of this is that there is NO problem with intersecting the original well. The depth is dictated by the unknowns. The depth at which the original may be damaged. (This is probably provided by Boots.) JL
