<Getting a bit earnest here, JBL? Annoyed that the Democrats weren't properly respectful of the similarly earnest Starr?>

Many Americans, and may be you among them, apparently believe that the consequences of Clinton's lack of character will not affect them.

But Clinton has shown to be the ultimate cynic, and is ready to use everyone and anything, including foreign policy, to remain popular in the short term, in an obvious effort to shield himself from justice.

Case in point : his frantic Mideast peace effort was, before anything else, a quest for personal success to draw attention away from impeachment.

The Israelis are starting to see through Clinton now, and many in the Israeli Government have started calling him a dupe. That is a tragedy.

With no credibility, there cannot be leadership, and a lack of charachter and leadership by a US President will have serious effects for the security and well being of Americans.

Calling people earnest, moralistic, gloomy, hypocrites or whatever else you want, won't change any of the facts we are dealing with.
