[It is sooo amazing how you all are pinning your DOJ's hopes on ONE state deciding to pull out.]

Nobody's "pinning hopes" on anything. As I said in the earlier post I still think Judge "doesn't Yahoo" Jackson will rule against MSFT, at least partially, and I suspect most of Wall Street agrees.

However, the SC action is surprise good news at a point in the trial I expected to be pretty gloomy. Further, it is UNAMBIGUOUSLY good news, unlike most of the issues surrounding the trial which can be spun either way.

[SC doesnt grasp the point to the Trial in the first place.]

They're not the only ones.

[The trial is about MSFT's abuse of its OS monopoly to destroy a competitor in another area of the industry.]

Yet that "destroyed" competitor is apparently worth $4B after just a few years in business. The DOJ's case is ridiculous. SC figured that out and took appropriate action. Good for them.
