CNBC reports that DLJ had a private lunch yesterday with SLB execs, and SLB said pricing pressures in the OS business are expected to continue going forward; added that SLB could be in acquisition mode, particularly in the non-OS businesses (like smart card). Of course, that will not stop the mo-mo traders from taking these stocks up if they choose.
