Here is an opinion published in "the Red Herring" Top Technology Stock Picks in the January 1997 edition pp 110 by Greg Mesniaeff of Robinson-Humphrey (404 266 6344):

"Summa Four, in our opinion, represents one of the most innovative telecom equipment plays in the central-office-switching arena. Summa Four is a small niche supplier of intelligent, programmable central-office switches designed primarily for public carrier networks. International expansion remains a high priority for the company and accounted for 46% of total sales in the first quarter of 1996, with Japan,Hong Kong and Singapore holding the majority. Our 12-month target price is set at $20, which represents a multiple of about 19 times our fiscal 1998 earnings estimate of $1.04. We have initiated coverage with a long-term buy rating".
