I've wondered about this, too. You are referring to Sterno and similar products, right? I don't think it would be very useful as a space heating source but could heat up a can of soup pretty fast. I plan on picking some up; seems it could be a pretty good barter item, too; although I might as well go on record right away saying I don't anticipate things will get that bad. ...Tim
