The Rise MP6 looks like a good gaming chip.
Unfortunately, the MP6 will suffer from a marketing standpoint because it's a low Mhz chip, 200Mhz with a PR rating ( I believe its rated against a Pentium MMX) of 266 even though it will have a niche with notebooks and gamers. Supposedly, they will move to .18u in Q1 so that may help the PR rating...but it will help everyone elses too. The other concern is the paltry 16k L1 cache. Seems to me they could get at least a speed grade gain by going to 32k like the Pentium MMX did.
At any rate if they can find a way to market it to gamers who don't get a large allowance from their parents they could sell a few chips but getting a foothold in the cpu market these days isn't easy.
