Kimberley, "That's interesting about the volumn... with IPM, for example, if it got to 3 on average volumn, I would expect it to keep falling, but if I saw a lot of buyers for the scared sellers, then I would expect a rebound... to me, that would indicate a "floor". Course, it could be that the smart money is selling, and the dummies are buying<g>." TAers are like economists. On the other hand... <g> Accumulation/Distribution indicators like OBV or the A..E ratings in IBD weight the direction by the volume: Up x vol -> good; Down x vol -> bad. On that other hand, your POV is called a blowoff; a trend may well end with a final move in its direction on very high volume. -bob
