Clark, before you dive head first into the arbitrage thing, ask yourself this... Why has MALL delayed the spin-off of UBID shares for 6 to 12 months? . Answer: To enhance MALL valuations . POSSIBLE reason: A secondary offering of MALL...which could knock the snot out of the # of shares of UBID you would be entitled to. MALL without its UBID subsidiary is going to require some restructuring, and that means they need cash...you just might find yourself swimming naked as the tide goes out.
