I was just cruising around the Pacel web site, looking at some of the new pages. Here's an interesting one:

pacel.com

So now we know Visual Writer sells for $1,995.00. And check it out, a free laptop with purchase. Interesting.

Just for fun, let's say Pacel can sell 10,000 copies of Visual Writer next year...that would be $19,950,000 in revenue (!). Remember the September 22 PR about deBeers? (See biz.yahoo.com.

According to that PR, "Projections are that de Beer will be taking orders for 10,000 units each of the first two quarters and an additional 15,000 thereafter during the first year." PACEL gets a 65% margin from these sales.

Earlier today, when I asked Mr. Calkins about when news was coming out, he replied with something like, "News will come out when news comes out." So we talked about it for a while since I found that to be kind of a pat answer. Well, apparently he has been burned silly by telling people on the phone his guess for the next PR, and then getting a call back (when the PR didn't appear) threatening SEC action. So, as I posted earlier, I don't have any news--or news about news--to share.

Let's see, what day is it: December 8.
Days until end of year = max. days until Pacel becomes reporting = 23 days.

Watching and waiting...
Good luck all,
Chris
