I have combed the Internet, but cannot find the answer to this question: In the 1st round of the NFL playoffs (a.k.a. the Wild Card Round), the 3rd-best divisional winner is seeded #1, regardless of whether another Wild Card team has a better record. So, as it stands right now, Dallas will be seeded higher than San Francisco. If both Dallas and San Francisco advance, who is considered the higher seed in the second round (a.k.a. the Divisional Playoffs), earning the right to play Atlanta and avoid Minnesota? Is it Dallas, because they are a division winner, or San Francisco, because they have a better record? Tom
