(Nasdaq/OTC BB:ITKG), today announces the status of various development contracts secured during the past year. US Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) On January 2, 1998 Emergent signed an SBIR contract in the amount of a $35,000 with the period of performance being January 1998 through December 1998 and the procuring agency being Geisas Technology Inc. The contract called for the delivery of a CTHA for proof of concept testing for incorporation into a tactical communications system being developed by Geisas for the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy. US Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) On May 28, 1998 Emergent signed an SBIR contract in the amount of a $99,964 with the procuring agency being US Special Operations Command for the development of a model utilizing solid core material for the CTHA antenna. This contract will be completed in late 1998. Northrop Grumman June 7, 1998 a small purchase order in the amount of $7,000 was signed for prototype antennas. US Customs A contract in the amount of $50,000 was signed in June 1998 for the delivery of 12 different CTHAs each at a different frequency. The completion date for this contract is mid-December 1998. US Naval Surface Warfare Center In June 1998 a contract in the amount of $25,000 was signed for the delivery of HF and VHF automatic tuners incorporating the CTHA. Science Applications International Corp., (SAIC) San Diego, California In September of 1998 a contract in the amount of $50,000 was signed for the delivery of four CTHAs at two different frequencies by the end of December 1998. The scope of this engagement is to design, develop, test and furnish eight prototype CTHA antennas for incorporation in the customers operational system. Battelle Memorial Institute Emergent entered into a one year contract in the amount of $133,209 for the delivery of 12 GPS antennas both active and passive. Development and testing is ongoing. South West Research Institute Emergent entered into a seven-month contract in the amount of $63,629 for performing a feasibility study of a system, which will satisfy the form, fit and function, of the customer's current operational antenna system. Emergent provided two deliverable prototype models suitable for limited field testing, which is ongoing. Integral's subsidiary Emergent Technologies Corp. holds an exclusive license from West Virginia University on all worldwide government and military applications of the Contrawound Toroidal Helical Antenna ("CTHA"). The CTHA is a new, patented antenna technology with broad applicability in the mobile wireless communications industry. Integral Technologies, Inc., through its subsidiary Emergent Technologies Corp., develops and manufactures application-specific antenna designs for mobile wireless communications systems.
