here is another.
A big wig got a phone call at his office from Jesus. He said "I am Jesus Christ may I come by and speak with you about something special important"? The guy said "yes sure Jesus, I would love to speak face to face with you"
"Good", said Jesus, "Can I come over at 3pm"..."Why sure Jesus I will be ever so happy, it will make my day beyond imagination", answered the man.
The guy got off the phone and thought to himself..Wow, imagine that Jesus Himself, coming to visit me...what a glorious thrill!!
So now the guy begins to thoroughly make his office plush and shiny.
Some time later his associate comes to his office and asks the man to help him with his car that just won't start. "O jack, I would love to but I can't, I am expecting a very special guest here in pretty soon, and I have to really make this office shine". "Sure" said Jack, "Thanks anyway".
A half hour later his secretary knocks on his door and asks him if she could take an extra hr. at lunch so that she go to the nursing home and bring her mother a gift for her birthday. The man answered that today was not a good day for that because he was having a very special guest at 3, and she would have to go to the florist and get a special arrangement made right away, he said "But you can take an extra hr. tomorrow", the secretary nodded and went on her way to the florist.
At just about 3 pm another knock on his office door and this time it was a client who was very troubled about her dying father, and asked the man if he would see her now without an appointment instead of next week, as she had to hurry to get her father into a hospital and the man would have to help her get the Hosp. Ins. taken care of now.
The man told her it was impossible at this time because he was expecting a very special guest any minute. He told the woman "don't worry about it, I will take care of it first thing in the morning. The grieved woman shook her head in approval.
It was now almost 4 pm and no sign of Jesus. The man began to think it was a hoax phone call, and oh how disappointed he was.
He was down and out the rest of the day. At about 5:35 pm, as he gave up the wait, the tel rang, he picked it up and the voice on the other end said, "Hi this is Jesus Christ"..the excited man said "O precious Lord Jesus, I have been waiting for you all day, what happened?"
Jesus said "I was there tree times this afternoon and you were too busy to see me"!
