Your ad hominem attacks are attempts at maximum force; hers are, for the most part, jerking your chain. There is a lack of commensurateness here.

Michelle and I disagree on many topics and are likely to find more disagreements as time goes on. Yet we appreciate each other and can debate easily without doing more than tweaking.

Perhaps it has something to do with the topic of the thread, which tends to bring out the claws in people.

P.S. Once again, have you considered a stroll over to the Mistletoe?
