It is evident that Biometrics is finally going to be accepted into the mainstream, i.e the BioAPI and its consortium. With many of the big players involved now (MS, Novel, Compaq, Dell, Uh..and IDX) there will be others that don't want to be left out. If I were a big player in the software or computing industry and wanted to get an immediate foothold in this emerging market, I'd buy up a small cash-strapped software company that already had a complete software suite. I'm not trying to start rumors, just stating the obvious. NRID is a buyout opportunity. Let's see what happens... -DL
