I have trouble seeing this kind of product as a big money maker for PRGS. It isn't really my area of expertise, but aren't there already bunches of big players in the network management arena? My sense of this product is that there is something very specific which is either not addressed by these other products or something specific which may be addressed by those products, but which is not available as a standalone. Seeing this and knowing that developers of distributed applications need to measure these things, they have put out a niche tool so that these developers can get the specific piece they need without having to get involved in some big complex suite. I.e., something like the distributed de-bugger product they brought out a while ago -- handy to a Progress developer and some other people, but not likely to set the world on fire.
