My point here is that it is not nescessary to buy a whole raft of the same ones,the same expirations,or even in the same company to make money

I find I must give up anwhere from $30 to $80 per trade in commissions when selling options and that is often a large percent of the trade. It seems that dealing with more contracts at the same transaction increases the % gain by quite a bit.
