Cletus, I am just a casual observer of this thread who therefore has no axe to grind. However, you are misunderstanding what is meant by "Quarter to Quarter" growth. What it means is the growth from the previous quarter to the current quarter, i.e. from 1Q97 to 2Q97. When you compare .11 to .32 you are doing a Year to Year growth comparison of same quarters, i.e 1Q96 vs. 1Q97. Thus when folks on this thread pointed out flat growth they were talking about the .31 last quarter vs. .32 in this one. Since many investors in high P/E stocks look hard at this growth the expectation was that they would be disappointed. Obviously this expectation was incorrect, for today. Regards, Bill
