Billy, re

I wonder how many shares ML/Tom Kurlak bought today? ...before issuing their "buy" report

Actually, they did not buy any, unless it was through Instinet. Merrill doesn't make a market in Cymer. This is unbelievable news. I am sure that barring a market collapse overnight (thanks for sticking your schlong out, Bill) we will gap up a point or two in the morning. There is still (as of 11/13) over 2 million shares short. Zeev will argue that some of these are hedged against the converts, but some of them aren't. Maybe we will get Curly's Revenge (short squeeze) after all.

IMHO, we are really going to start to rocket. I watched fairly closely all day on a Level II screen, and the gain today wasn't so much a plethora of buyers; there just weren't that many sellers. Several times for the price to move up two or three levels, they only had to go through a thousand or so shares. When the institutional support comes along, we're going to fly.

Question: If a monopoly is one seller and many buyers, what do you call many buyers and no sellers? Answer: Cymer flying.

Go Baby!
