I think people do care about SMU but two problems. The company knows that tax loss selling is happening and might still have pressure for another two weeks. They also know that Wall Street can hate a stock one day and love it the next. News and contract announcements have been quiet lately because of all the negative news. Once the pressure is off the company will be speaking with the street. With all the partnerships with TRW it is obvious that the company will be bought by them in the next couple years. Why would TRW keep using SMU when it can own the technology. The stock is a winner. Maybe this stock is not a volume or excitement play, but certainly one adequate for an IRA.
