Well I'm glad that one of us managed to get a hold of him. Could I trouble you to ask these questions when you do get to talk to 3Dfx tomorrow?

(1) Ballard said that Banshee (the OEM part) will be 40% of the sales. He also said that the "gaming niche" ie the high-end is about $200 Mil in sales. Putting these two statements together makes for annual revenue of ~$350 Mill. How quickly does 3Dfx expect to achieve this?

(2) Is the Banshee line now dead for good? What is the marketing plan to differentiate the high-end from the low-end. More to the point just what is their marketing game plan (some specifics please)?

(3) What are they doing on the set-top front? Do they have a dedicated sales staff to target that area or are they sitting on their hands waiting for suitors to knock on their door? Why is ATI having so much more success on this front and how will they meet that challenge?

(4) Are they working with Intel to make their chips make the most of Katmai instruction set? Will V3 (YUK!) take advantage of Katmai?

(5) When will Rampage be out?

(6) Recent comments from the developers seems to indicate that 3Dfx is losing their interest and loyalty. To what extent is this true and what are they doing to increase developer loyalty?

(7) Why are there no AGP Banshee cards out there?

(8) How is the law suit with nVidia coming along and when do they expect it be settled?

(9) Does the 19 day turn around time with TSMC mean that they will at most have one month worth of over/under supply of chips? Please elaborate on the significance of TSMC announcement.

Thanks in advance
Sun Tzu
